what is REMIND?
Join RHS Band!
If you are interested in joining the RHS Band stop in and see Mrs. Schack ASAP to get some information!
Here are some options:
Everyone should check out the powerpoint below about band and also check out the links at the top for the band calendar, marching band, and scheduling information for lots more info on band. We have a lot of fun while building on our musical experiences. If you are a new potential band student, please fill out the form below. All current members should just sign up for band during the scheduling process.
Here are some options:
- If you were in band in middle school or HS but took a year or more off, see Mrs. Schack for some info on getting "back into musical shape!" She will guide you through that process and help you get an instrument if you need one again.
- If you currently do NOT play any instrument but want to be in band, see Mrs. Schack and talk to a friend who plays the instrument you'd like to play. Mrs. Schack will set you up with someone who can tutor you (maybe for free). It's no impossible to join late but it does take work to catch up. There are limited spaces for instruments so keep an open mind!
- Don't play an instrument but want to join color guard, we will hold auditions in the spring (around the middle of May). No experience necessary however having dance or music experience is helpful. Both girls and boys are welcome to audition.
