Mrs. Molly Schack grew up in New Baltimore, MI and graduated from Anchor Bay High School where she was drum major of the marching band and captain of the Cross Country and Track teams. Mrs. Schack earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. She was trumpet section leader in the Spartan Marching Band and also played in the university’s top band and sang in the Women's Glee Club. Mrs. Schack went on to teach all facets of music education including band, choir and general music at Hazel Park Schools and Anchor Bay before gaining employment with Richmond Community Schools where she is in her third year as director of the middle and high school instrumental music department. She has her masters in music education through Southern Oregon University in Ashford, Oregon. Mrs. Schack is an active member of the Michigan Schools and Band Association and Michigan Schools Vocal Music Association and still plays her trumpet whenever she can.
In her free time Mrs. Schack loves spending time with her family, including her husband and two daughters! They love camping, hiking, biking and running! Mrs. Schack has run 14 marathons, including 2 ultra marathons.
